Welcome to the Art page!  Students in Kindergarten - 5th grade participate in art class once every 5 days.  We use a variety of materials, techniques and processes to explore and solve visual arts problems.  I emphasize originality, flexibility, fluency and imagination!  I also teach the importance of following directions and good listening skills and how these can help get a great result with their finished work.  We study many famous artists and use their styles to influence our works of art.  One goal is that the students will understand the relationship of culture, history, and other areas of learning, to the visual arts.
